Education and Skills can support your school to offer Level 1 & Level 2 childcare qualifications within your school setting to 16 to 18 year olds. Our highly experienced delivery staff work with small groups of learners that feel a more vocational learning pathway would be suited to them.
NCFE CACHE Level 1 Diploma in Caring for Children
This qualification is designed to stimulate interest and encourage the learners’ understanding of the skills and knowledge needed to care for young children.
It is aimed at a range of learners, including young people needing to develop life skills as well as those who are thinking of working in childcare.
Learners will study a mixture of vocational and personal and social development units, as well as the opportunity to improve English and Maths qualifications.
NCFE CACHE Level 2 Diploma for the Children & Young People's Workforce
This qualification is designed to help learners build the knowledge and skills needed when working under supervision with children and young people from birth to 19 years of age. It covers a diverse range of job roles and occupational areas working in children’s settings including early years and social care. You will need to be working, volunteering or on practical placement as you need to show competence in both knowledge and skills.
